Taking up an ability slot for counter is niche level fun as it reduces offensive output. If they are going to be hit more often, they need a passive boost to defense if hampered by bad mobility. Power skulls are particularly weak currently due to size, hitbox and lack of a double dash. The fun is not just in hoping for powerful skulls but to create builds with different skulls but some are just too weak. The scaling on some Skulls needs to be looked at to make some more in line with powerful skuls. I would not want to use this one as even with powerful items, the damage on abilities is 1/10th of Reaper. Water is an example of this, aside from getting the achievement by getting him to legendary. ![]() Overall, I think additional items did not need to be added rather a more important issue was how weak some Skulls are. The Shard items from Black Market are rather weak as they have only an effect based on cooldown rather than passive bonuses. You make items less important when there is too many. This is a problem with a diluted item pool. If inscriptions require too many items and the item pool is large, it is easier to just stack powerful random items rather than seek a set. The amount of set items you need to fulfill an inscription make collecting the entirety less possible given the RNG. The plus is that more options were given for power skulls which are the most underpowered skulls currently.Ī.
